Barbara Reynolds was a Quaker and pacifist who founded the World Friendship Center in Hiroshima, Japan. She was highly regarded in the Japanese peace movement; after her return to the U.S. she helped establish the Hiroshima/Nagasaki Memorial Collection in the Wilmington College Peace Resource Center, Wilmington, Ohio.
